Il Giardino d′Amore (excerpts)

January 7, 2017

Excerpts from my new work Il Giardino d'Amore, set to Alessandro Scarlatti's early 18th century serenata Il Giardino di Amore inspired by the mythic lovers Venus and Adonis, will take place as part of an artist-in-residence showcase at the 92nd Street Y. The excerpts will feature dancers Christiana Axelsen and Andrew Champlin as well as costume designs by Andrew Jordan. The showcase will also include works by Adam Barruch, Tina Croll, Johnnie Cruise Mercer/TheREDProjectNYC, Netta Yerushalmy, and Yin Yue.
