Kyle Gerry (dancer)

Kyle Gerry is a native of Eugene, Oregon. He began studying dance at Columbia University, from which he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Political Science and Economics. He then studied at the Merce Cunningham studios and has performed in over a dozen stagings of Cunningham's works. He has danced for Jessica Gaynor Dance, Rosario, and Kazuko Hirabayashi; in projects with Laura Peterson and Colleen Thomas; was featured in Stanford Theater and Performance Studies' Fall 2015 mainstage production Fox Mirror Forest; and appeared as "Mr. Ramsay" in Stephanie Lane's Lighthouse Triptych. His recent projects with Christopher include The Indian Queen, directed by Peter Sellars, and the National Opera of Bordeaux's Dardanus.
