Brittany Engel-Adams (dancer)
Brittany Engel-Adams is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher living in New York. She danced and toured around the world with the Ailey II company, and has collaborated and danced with renowned artists such as Yvonne Rainer, Okwui Okpokswasili, Annie-B Parson, Donna Uchizono, Pam Tanowitz, Emily Coates, Pat Catterson, Moriah Evans, and many more. She is featured in the Spike Lee film “Chiraq” and was co-star in the HBO series “Boardwalk Empire.” Her choreographic work has been presented at the Guggenheim Museum's Works and Process, Joffrey Ballet, Brooklyn Ballet School, and Rutgers University. Her research “AOM” will be published in the upcoming “Movement Research journal” issue #55. Brittany graduated from The University of the Arts with an MFA in Dance. She’s been on the faculty at New York University and is currently a Lecturer of Dance at Rutgers University.
