The Cocktail Party (2014)

Conceived of as a dance murder mystery in which an innocent high society lady meets her untimely end via a poisoned cocktail, The Cocktail Party is a work for three female dancers accompanied by chamber ensemble and a fifty-voice on-stage student choir set to an excerpt from the opera Persephone by Philip Glass. The piece, with costumes by Juli Bounds and lighting by Jay Ryan, was commissioned by Dickinson College and premièred there from Novemebr 21st-23rd, 2014.
