Daphnis & Chloé (work-in-progress)

Set to Maurice Ravel's Daphnis et Chloé composed in 1912 for the Ballets Russes, Daphnis & Chloé is an evening-length work reevisioning themes of Greek romancer Longus’s 2nd century novel entitled “Dapnhis and Chloé: Story of a Lesbian Romance" on which it is based to re-imagine the original ballet’s dramatic scenario through a contemporary queer lens.
