Michael Parmelee (dancer)

Michael Parmelee (he/him), originally from Lansing, Michigan is a dance artist in Brooklyn, New York. He has performed for Amanda + James in the dance opera LAZER EYES (2019), with Ishmael Houston-Jones, Chris Cochrane, and Dennis Cooper in the 2018 revival of THEM (1986) at Performance Space New York, and for Richard Alston at The Place in London. His work has been presented at Fort Greene Park/Summer Happenings Festival, DanceSpace Project, JACK, Dixon Place, and WestFest Dance Festival. He received an MFA, Dance Choreography and Performance from the University of Michigan (2016).
