John Hoobyar (dancer)

John Hoobyar is a performer based in New York. Originally from Eugene, Oregon, John studied dance and French literature at Goucher College in Baltimore, MD before settling in Brooklyn. He has danced in the work of Sarah Michelson since February 2013 and has performed with many other incredible artists including Christopher Williams, Rebecca Patek, Anne Imhof, Karl Rogers/Red Dirt Dance, Annie Vigier and Franck Apertet (Les Gens d'Uterpan), Olivier Dubois, and the Tiffany Mills Company.
